Date agreed by: 02/11/1999The incidence date in late diagnosed primaries will remain unchanged (as it is still the same tumour) but the site and morphology codes may be changed, given that there is more detailed information on the tumour. An example is adenocarcinoma in a neck node, which eventually declares itself some years later as being a metastasis from the ovary.
